Compare to other mentally hadicapped people, the patients, who suffer down syndrome, show not only visual differences but also different recognition aspect, verbal ability and ways of expression. Basically they have outgoing and imitative characteristic, but for them it is not easy to develop self expression methods and behavioral development. In soulphoto, which is photographic educational program, they adopt photography as a medium of expression for their thinking and feeling. These photographic experience provide not only confidential attitude but communication skill to the people who suffer Down-Syndrome. Instead of language, which is the most common verbal training method, using non verbal training method such as photography can be effective way of education.In this research, several positive effects of photography as a educational tool will be examined. The goal of examine will cover how to improve their abilities of expression in the aspect of physical, emotional, social, intellectual capacity and how to improve their quality of life in ordinary social life.
