<Life is Beautiful> is a film that widened the way of reviving the holocaust time period with the theme of family love. With the analysis of the narrative of the film, this paper examines how the movie poster represents the narrative elements the film as an image. The narrative of <Life is Beautiful> is divided into two parts and the poster itself consists both parts of connoted narrative as well. In order to analyze the image of the poster, it was essential to focus on the film’s structure analysis. As a result, the film takes place with repetitive emergence of the relationship between narrative elements. As one complete image, this movie’s poster is created with the repetitive narrative elements rather than as a still-cut image from the film. From the marketing perspective of the film, the modes of expression of the movie poster image acts as an important factor in movie’s performance and it contributes to industrial development of the movie worldwide along with the study of the visual culture.
