The purpose of this study is to realize the importance of the point of view in shooting photos, and to investigate the characters of point of view, image, display theory of landscape through the pictures of churches in Korean country. The most basic point of views are ‘low angle’, ‘high angle’, and ‘eye level’ ones. They are important factors that define characters of an object. It is very important to find the point of view in shooting, too. And characters of an object are defined by relationship with it and the character of viewpoint itself. In the long run, a good landscape has a good-looking position and size for us to see. But it can be seen differently depending on the position of point of view, even if it is the same landscape. If we don't have eyes to see the landscape, however, it is useless. Therefore, we need a law of view suitable for the landscape in order to feel it just as it is.
