중심위를 채득하는 방법 중 Gothic arch tracer를 활용한 고딕아치 묘기법(gothic arch tracing method)은 하악의 곡선운동 경로를 묘사해 줌으로써 악골 운동을 좀 더 정확히 재현할 수 있게 한다. 본 증례에서는 비기능적인 운동으로 인해 술자에 의한 중심위로의 유도가 어려운 환자에서 고딕아치 묘기법을 통해 재현성이 있는 중심위를 채득하여 만족할만한 결과를 얻을 수 있었기에 이를 보고하는 바이다.
