The purposes of this study were to develop the creative experience program(CRP) using natural history museum and to examine learning effects on biological taxa. Subjects for applying to the creative experience program were 110 tenth graders, who were in four classes of a girls' high school in Seoul, They were divided into two groups of doing individual-activity and doing group- activity. The creative experience program was composed for students to know monocotyledon and dicotyledon's features and seed scattering methods, and understand each taxonomic group's features by observing exhibits in invertebrates including insects and vertebrate animals. CRP using natural history museum showed that the academic achievement of the doing group-activity group was higher than that of doing individual-activity one(p<.05). This showed that the use of natural history museum should be effective for creative experiences and CRP should be considered to apply strategically like the group activity.
