The purpose of this study is to observe and analyze the classes of 3 teachers who conduct good teaching, and examine their characteristics showed up clearly in their classes from the viewpoint of good teaching focused on the fundamental capacity of teachers to achieve the purpose of education effectively. The main items of class analysis include the classroom environment, the science curriculum and the teaching and learning, and the following results were obtained from the study. First, the characteristics of teachers who conduct good teaching from the viewpoint of classroom environment can be summarized in excellent securement and utilization of class materials,pleasant classroom environments, securement and arrangement of student desks and chairs suitable for the form of learning, and the arrangement strategies for effective atmosphere in the class. Second, the results of analysis from the viewpoint of the science curriculum can be summarized in high understandings of the curriculum, appropriate interpretation of the curriculum in consideration of the levels of students and the classroom conditions, and the securement of the appropriateness to fulfill the national science curriculum. Third, the class characteristics from the viewpoint of teaching and learning can be summarized in high understanding and preference of teachers for experiment activities, the maintaining of appropriate group activities and interactions, the utilization of various teaching methods, efficient utilization of motivation strategies including gaming activities,sharing the learning results and providing feedbacks, the utilization of materials closely related to real life and the structuralization of classes through repeated confirmations on key concepts.
