This study aimed to provide basic material in reviving backward local economy as well as succeeding and developing as a place of new local food culture by empirically analyzing the impact that affects awareness and customer's satisfaction on local food tourism products using specialties of Gwangju and Jeonnam Region and suggesting development of local food tourism products and market vitalization methods. For empirical survey and analysis, a total of 276 copies(92%) collected for around 15 days from August 22 to September 6, 2011 with the target of residents of Gwangju and Jeonnam Region was analyzed by using awareness test on questions items, t-test and ANOVA as well as the SPSS 12.0 statistic program, and then a difference between groups was analyzed. In addition, the regression analysis was carried out for hypothesis testing by analysis of an effect relationship between variables. As a result of its analysis, the awareness of rice boiled inside bamboo,Mudeung mountain's boiled barley, Chueotang and Naju beef-bone soup, etc. appeared highly in an aspect of awareness on local food. In an awareness on market vitalization methods of local dish tourism products, it appeared that the cooking process of local food is recognizing traditional cook methods importantly, and the factor of local dish tourism products has a significant influence on customer's satisfaction.
