This study conducted a reliability analysis and factor analysis on each variable to determine the relationships among lifestyle patterns, beauty management behavior and appearance satisfaction by demographic factors against adolescents and performed multiple regression analysis to analyze relationships among the variables. The study results found the followings: In lifestyle patterns, a high correlation was observed between ‘interest in appearance’ and ‘trend-oriented purchases.’ In particular, a highly positive correlation was found between ‘hair care’ and ‘facial care.’ In terms of gender and grade, the highest correlation was found in ‘female’ and ‘2nd graders’(p<.05). Furthermore, ‘interest in appearance,’ ‘planned purchase’ and ‘trend-oriented purchase’ revealed a positive correlation with ‘confidence in appearance.’ In addition, ‘female’ and ‘2nd graders’ showed higher correlations than other groups having different lifestyle pattern and appearance satisfaction(p<.05). In beauty management behavior and appearance satisfaction, as ‘hair care’ increased, ‘confidence in appearance’ improved as well in all groups(p<.05). This study concluded that interest in beauty management behavior was higher in girls than in boys. In terms of beauty behavior factors, instant factors such as ‘hair care’ and ‘facial care’ were highly correlated with lifestyle patterns and appearance satisfaction. As appearance satisfaction increased, moreover, there might be a positive correlation with the lifestyle patterns having a high interest in appearance.
