Languages and Cultures are inseparable in the teaching. The directions of integrating language and culture are divided into Language-Based Culture Teaching (LBCT) and Culture-Based Language Teaching (CBLT). This paper attempts to map out an effective approach of LBCT for low-grade Chinese Korean learners in China. Firstly, the current situation of culture teaching was investigated to find out the problems by focusing on the contents in textbooks which are using in the intensive reading course. It is important to teach culture by a view of intercultural approach. Secondly, a questionnaire survey on the recognition of Korean cultures and the learning requirements of Chinese Korean learners was conducted in order to illustrate the necessity of this approach. Lastly,this paper presented the instructional objectives of culture teaching integrated in low-grade language course from the cognitive (acknowledge), functional (performance) and affective (attitude) aspects,and the specific directions of them as well. Furthermore, examples of instruction procedure for beginners and intermediate learners were presented based on this kind of research.
