This research purports to carry out a reasoning that reveals the implications of the practice of motherhood as women' bodily experience. Although motherhood, which is a biological experience of a woman's body, is criticized by essentialism, the social dimension of motherhood can be revealed by a new interpretation of femininity. Up to now, femininity has been socially underestimated from the gender perspective that considers it as a feminine characteristic. Moreover, feminists have not espoused femininity for feminist strategy. In this paper, a critical reconsideration of femininity and the reasoning on the social dimension of motherhood provide the motivation for reinterpretation to criticize the men- centered order of the modern era, restore gender equality, and establish a new social order. The feminist strategy that centers on motherhood as women's experience argues that the potentials of motherhood practice and the relational women's identity rooted in mother-children relationship can be expanded into the foundation for a social alliance at the socio-political dimension.
