This study aims at establishing the methodology for the construction of learner corpora. To achieve this aim, we look into various practical considerations regarding design, construction and process of the learner corpora using YS-KLI Corpus 1 in section 2. In section 3, we annotate the part of speech tag with some samples(about 30 thousand words) manually, and then we describe frequency lists of grammatical and lexical morphemes. With this frequency data, we seek for solution to application of learner corpora. As result of uses of the endings and particles, to middle level the diversity of both are increased, and after middle level it is not almost increased. And the more the level of learner is up, the more the number of lexical morpheme is increased. YS-KLI Corpus 1 can be effective in teaching and learning languages,even if it has limitations in that the raw data of this corpus is consisted of the students’ writings of only one institute.
