This paper covers not only transformation of capitalism but overcoming capitalism in Asian countries through management philosophy and Asian values of Japan and new capitalism of Korea. Subsequently, in terms of environmental ecology and symbiosis focusing on vital capitalism, it is possible to confirm that basic foundation of vital capitalism which has been overwhelming throughout these days is embodied the Daoist Classics like 『Daodejing (道德經)』,『Zhuangzi(莊子)』,『Huinanzi(淮南子)』, and 『Taipingjing (太平經)』.
Around a country ago, Max Weber had pointed out irrationality of oriental thoughts like Confucianism and Daoism as a major reason that impedes growth of capitalism in China. Ironically, however, at this postmodern times, the oriental thoughts are closely examined to save capitalism.
How should we take up the challenges for our time? Even though we had had a hard time getting to the modern times, we achieved the modern times with phenomenal speed. Now, the challenge tasks, overcoming modern times that means the progressive overcoming capitalism, are given to us. If we use our familiar heritages to achieve the task mentioned above, we who were once late coming into the modern times will play a leading role in overcoming modernity.
