This paper translates and explains two prose of Li Bai(李白). The first prose is “Here I write a preface by sending Caishi(蔡十) from Jiangxia(江夏) to Yunmeng(雲夢) in the early spring.”. This prose consists of three paragraphs. The first paragraph describes the personality of Caishi, the interacts of Li bai and Caishi in the past and farewell of Li Bai and Caishi. The second paragraph describes the beautiful scenery on Caishi’s return to his hometown and Li Bai’s longing for his hometown. The third paragraph urges to keep a promise that Li Bai asks Caishi to go on a trip together in the fall. The second prose is “Here I write by sending Wangzangong(王讚公), Jiashaogong(賈少公), who live in Yangquxian(陽曲縣) and Yinshaogong(尹少公), who live in Shiaixian(石艾縣), going from Taiyuan(太原) to the capital under the recommendation in the fall.” This prose consists of five paragraphs. The first paragraph describes the significantly important geographical position of Taiyuan. The second paragraph describes the learning of Wangzangong, the writing skill of Jiashaogong, and the speaking skill of Yinshaogong. The third paragraph states that Wangzangong and Jiashaogong will go to the capital and take the test. The fourth paragraph describes Lishu(李舒), a cousin of Li Bai, held a banquet at a bar in Nanzha(南柵) and took farewell of three people. The fifth paragraph says that the preface has already been completed and asks to present the poem.
