The school grammar along with the Rules of Spelling of Hangeul(한글맞춤법) and the Regulations of Standard Korean(표준어규정) plays the role of standards in Korean education and Korean education as a foreign language. However, because of a great gap between the actual usage and the school grammar, people tend to regard the school grammar as boring 'regulations' and 'rules'. There are also similar problems in the description on the honorific system of the school grammar. The school grammar teaches Hao and Hage, which are hardly used by the twenties and the thirties in present. Therefore the students who are learning the system feel a gap between the school grammar and the actual usage. For this reason, this paper researched the relative honorific system in the twenties and the thirties. At the end of this research, we figured out "the relative honorific system of the twenties and the thirties is a unitary three-level system". (Hasipsio>Haeyo>Hae·Haera)The results of our discussion can be supported by the following facts. (1) At present, Hao and Hage are not used by the twenties and the thirties. (2) 'The (public/private) scene' which is one of the factors that divide 'a formal style' and 'a informal style' does not affect the choice between Hasipsio and Haeyo. (3) Hasipsio has a higher degree of honorifics than Haeyo. (4) The choice between Hasipsio and Haeyo can be affected by 'the relative degree of intimacy'. (5) Haera is not 'a formal style' of Hae. (6) There is no difference on degree of honorifics between Haera and Hae. (7) There are different registers between Haera and Hae.
