<Buerhuli> is the mythological story which explains the origin of the Man race and Cheong dynasty in China. The detail of the myth was changed when it was accepted by the Han race and Josun race. The most important change in the transmission of <Buerhuli> is the loss of the holiness and the increase of secularity in the protagonist's blood. This is why the myth of the Man race was changed into a legend in the course of transmission to the Han race and Josun race. The Josun race changed the name of <Buerhuli> of the Man race and Yuanchi of the Han race into Oknyeo Swamp. That is to say, they accepted <Buerhuli> of the Man race and the Han race but created the legend of Oknyeo Swamp. This mirrors the realistic limitation and racial consciousness of the Josun race who had no other choice but to live with the Chinese but could not become Chinese people. The legend of Oknyeo Swamp contains the legend of the dragon's son whose main theme is cultivating rice and the folk tale of the struggle against Japan whose main theme is the struggle againste Japanese army. The reason why the Josun race accepted the mythological story of the Man race but created a new legend of Oknyeo Swamp was that the reality of the Josun race was changed. The legend of the dragon's son was concerned with the food problem which was the most serious problem of the first generation of the Josun race and the folk tale of the struggle against Japanese army was concerned with the coexistence and reconciliation with the Chinese which were the most important problem of the second generation of the Josun race. The Josun race highlighted through the folk tale of the struggle against Japan that they and the Chinese were comrades who had the common enemy of Japan.
