This study examined how the plot reading has a sense in a novel teaching, why need. Also, emphasized a active learner’s plot reading intervening the desire and more flexible through the plot concept as a eros referred by Peter Brooks, examined the core element of a plot reading and a practical aspect accomplishing by a learner. A learner’s plot reading is not simply act of a reading plot as a narrative intention embodied by a author, but it is inquiring the diversity and activity of a interpretation through intervening a learner’s desire, is inquiring, through this, of(for) passion of meaning. Plot reading as a those, emphasizes that a learner keeping a desire the process that reads the novel text and interprets the novel text, that the process of the making meaning adequately in his way is the plot as a it self. A learner’s plot reading accomplishes through a narrative inference about the plot, the core element of a plot reading is found in a ‘grasping and comprehending plot as a organization principle of novel’, ‘capacity interpretation of a plot and communication as a erotic desire’. ‘Capacity interpretation of a plot and communication as a erotic desire’ is formed the grasping the relation of cause and effect in event, filling up a narrative gaps, valuing the worth of a plot and signifying, communicating process with the teacher and other learners. This paper has a significance that the plot reading is the embodying a learner’s erotic desire, inquiring into how has a significance, and emphasizing the other side of a novel reading. This approach can cause a new approach about a direction and a method of a novel teaching.
