The Purpose of this study is to find a way to educate satire tone through qualitative poetry experience education. In order to achieve this purpose, first, I embody the concept of tone as the content of qualitative experience referred to by John Dewey. Second, How to educate satire tone in Poetry will be discussed through specific poetry texts. Quality is total, unique, dominant characteristic which is formed by interaction between environment and subject. Tone as quality is not fixed meaning existed in poetry text but driving force which lead the learners to examine characteristics not separated from themselves during the process of poetry experience. Satire tone as quality can be typed as not a speaker’s attitude but experience aspects of how learners are involved in poetry text such as “A case that learner is sympathize with speaker’s voice”, “A case that learner resembles objects of satire”, “A case that learner is not sympathize with both speaker and objects of satire”
