In recent curriculum of literature education the economic term ‘production’ replaced the literary term ‘creation’ and in recent economy education literary work and movie are recommended to be used as teaching aids. But literature education and economy education don’t have the common field of education in contrast to the real world where literary work builds up an economic sector and linguistic creativity plays as an important economic power. In recent world economy literary work forms a part of cultural industry regarded as a newly arising economic field. Also literary work is included as an important sector of the so-called ‘creative economy’ or ‘creative industry’. And linguistic creativity plays important roles in various economic activities such as advertising, critical approach to economic problems, and alternative planning of economy. These phenomena can form the common field of literature education and economy education. ‘Value’ is recommended as a sample of the target of teaching the common field of literature education and economy education in this paper. Creating value, spreading value, and adding value are the common activities of literature and economy. So the utility value and the exchange value could be the topics of learning literary works and the outcomes of linguistic creativity as the common field of literature education and economy education.
