The relation of individual characteristics, pre-impairment experience, participation motivation, and commitment experience of people with physical disability. Survey was performed from 118 players with physical disability. The question items for measuring the participation motivation base on the 5point Likert Scale questionnaire adjusted for this research was developed by Jung (1997), for the commitment experience questionnaire developed by Lee (2001). Frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis for data analysis were performed. Results were as follows. First, there was significant difference level of participation motivation and commitment experience according to individual characteristics. Second, there was significant difference level of participation motivation and commitment experience according to pre-impairment physical activity experience. third, participation motivation has a direct effect on commitment experience. The statistics employed in this study were actually verified about pre-impairment physical activity and instructor’s experience presence can be a role of evidence the core on the primary factors of motivation and commitment experience regarding sports participation for the midway physical handicapped by physical disability. Henceforth, the research should be required that sustaining factors and barriers of sports participation in concern with this study. Likewise, backing these researches, support system should be managed by using human resource which are organized various experts and established legal, social, environmental factors to do self-actualization and improve quality of life through sports participation for the midway handicapped to support these researches.
