Adjustment Experiences of Students in Nursing Education Min, So-Young1) 1) Department of Nursing, Semyung University Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the Korean undergraduate nursing students' experiences on their adjustment in nursing education program. Method:　A grounded theory method guided the data collection and analysis. The data were collected by individual in-depth interview from 11 nursing students. These data were analyzed according to Strauss & Corbin'(1998) open coding, axial coding, selective coding, and process analysis. Result: Nursing student's experiences were a process of ‘Accepting responsibility as my share.’ Processes changed in the course of time. Such changes in the process advanced with ‘Deciding to be a nurse’, ‘Being bewildered by a new environment’, ‘Being pushed by a huge amount of study and time’, ‘Enduring with comfort for the future’, and ‘Cautiously planning the future.’ Conclusion: The result indicates that the supportive programs reflecting nursing students' experiences should be developed.
