In the twenty-first century, the key priority of the Korean Church is to redefine its christian identity and undergo transformation in order to guide the rapidly changing society. The purpose of this study is to examine three issues: the relationship between the Korean Church and Christian universities within the country, the universities' views on and expectation for the Korean Church, and possibilities for cooperation between the two parties for a better future and, ultimately, for the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God.
In conclusion, this study suggests four following propositions:establishing a system which enables campus ministers to intensively focus on their campus ministry, assisting in and cooperating with the activities of campus mission groups, consolidating the cooperation between campus ministers and the Chaplain’s Office, and, finally,changing of the theological paradigm of the Korean Church.
