The purpose of this study is to analyzed the meaning of the professional learning community of a early childhood teacher who is an action researcher on science education. The professional learning community included six kindergarten teachers, who had previously taken graduate courses in early childhood science education. They had also agreed with the philosophy of professional learning community and the participation into the action research. The data for this study were teacher interview, teacher journal, researcher's journal, and a collection of other related information. Collected data were analyzed in chronological order and qualitative analysis was done. According to the results for this research, teachers came to enjoy the science and science teaching. Teachers also enhanced their science teaching competent and treated children with respect as a colleague. Finally, the research finding demonstrates that a learning community provides an opportunity of collaborative learning, comfort-challenge, and reflective thinking for kindergarten teachers.
