It is necessary to analyze how the activities related to the open innovation of Korean companies are performed on the macro level in order to enable the open innovation activities of companies to be utilized in the entire R&D process of companies.
In this study, we try to analyze where the innovation activities of Korean companies are located on the continuous line of closed innovation and open innovation, and what kind of open innovation activity is rooted in innovation activity of company.
As a result of the analysis, open innovation activities of companies are low. Open innovation activities is fragmented. Therefore, it is important to lay the foundation for the open innovation to be placed in the innovation process of the company. It is necessary to establish a network and cooperation pool so that flexible cooperation can be achieved.
