The study of traitors during the Anti-Japanese War in China is of great significance to the study of the common history of the Anti-Japanese War between China and Korea, and even the modern history of East Asia. In the first half of the 20th century, Japanese imperialism maintained colonial rule on the Korean Peninsula for more than 30 years. China"s War of Resistance against Japan lasted for 14 years. Although there are various complicated reasons at home and abroad, the pro-Japanese and traitor groups have made important “contributions” that can not be ignored. The study on the pro-Japanese and traitor issues is an important task for China and South Korea to sum up and draw lessons from the history of foreign aggression and colonial rule in modern times.
In view of the fact that the research on the pro-Japanese issue in Korean academic circles has already produced considerable results, and the research on the problem of traitors is still insufficient, this article focuses on the current research status of the Chinese academic circles on the issue of traitors. On the one hand, it provides necessary information for the research of Korean academic circles. On the other hand, it lays a foundation for the comparative study of the pro-Japanese and traitor issues in the future.
