The purpose of this study were to analyzing on main key words extracted from contents of domestic news articles related Pyeong-Chang Olympic games using text mining. For this puspose, we collected articles on Pyong-Chang Olympic games booked on naver news web site from May, 1, 2018 to December, 31, 2018. These acticles collected were retricted to daily newspaper and artice the ground. Finally, we selected 1,843 news articles related Pyeong-Chang Olympic games and were swiched over informal data and these data cleaned by r program. Collected data were analized to identify frquency of main key words, frequency of co-occurence between paired key word and importance of key word reflected attribute among keywords by text ming. These results were follow:
First, it showed high frequency on “Olympics”, “South Korea”, “South-North Korea”, “Seoul”, “goverment”, “America” a nd “World” in s imple occurrence, “ Korea”, “ Olympics”, “North Korea”, and “South-North Korea” in frequency on key words co-occured with “Pyeong-Chang Olympics”, and “South-North Korea” and “North Korea” showed high frequency in co-occurrence excluded “Pyeong-Chang Olympics”.
Second, it shown high importance on “South Korea”, “South Korea”, “goverment”, “Olympics”, “Korea”, chairman”, “Kim, Jung-Eun”, “game”, “person connected”, “domestic”, “events”, “schedule” and “summit” in importance.
