To avoid a new round of city color pollution caused by easy operation in the rapid urbanization process, we need to consider the color creation of “scenic pastoral cities” in different regions from various perspectives. This paper proposes the concept of multi-dimension of coloring in urban color planning from the perspective of color application and explains the rationality of the application of color multi-dimension in urban color planning through specific cases. This paper analyzes, concludes and summarizes the cases of city color planning and designing trying to teases out the methodologies of regional city color design of modern scenic cities and initially completes the construction of its knowledge system, which lays a foundation for future practices of regional city color design of modern scenic cities.
