The purpose of this study is to scientifically identify the relationship between irrational beliefs of university Taekwondo athletes on sport attitude and career preparation behaviors and to provide basic data for career improvement of university Taekwondo athletes. To identify the purpose of the study, university Taekwondo athletes registered to Korea Taekwondo Association in 2018 were selected as the population. A total of 220 samples were collected through the allocation sampling method. A total of 196 data were used for the analysis, except for 24 cases which were judged to lack consistency of responses. Based on this analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to identify the relationship between irrational beliefs, sports attitudes, and career preparation behaviors of university Taekwondo players using the Window SPSS 22.0 program. The results are as follows. First, irrational beliefs (need for recognition, self - esteem, desire for fairness, desire for achievement, desire for comfort) partially influenced subordinate factors such as social attitude, emotional attitude, physical attitude and personal attitude. Second, irrational beliefs (need for recognition, self - esteem, desire for fairness, desire for achievement, desire for comfort) partially affect career counseling, career preparation effort, career search. Third, sports attitude (social attitude, emotional attitude, physical attitude, personal attitude) partially influenced career counseling, career preparation, career search, which are subordinate factors of job preparation behavior.
