Purpose : The purpose of this study is to design a architectural system that can be basically used for the development and practical use of New-Hanok type public building, which inherit the genetic factors of traditional Korean houses and fuse modern architecture. Method : In this study, the concept of New-Hanok type public building, recognition of Hanok and trend of technology development were understood through the review of previous research, and the development direction and scope of the architectural system were set. And the necessary functions for each part of the Hanok are derived, and the concept and goal of the architectural system are set and the architectural system for each part is conceived. The scope of this study is architectural components such as roof part, body part, stylobate / basement part, outdoor, and equipment that make up New-Hanok type public building. The scope of the study was limited to the architectural system design of the part which can be utilized as the basic data for the practical use of New-Hanok type public building in planning. Result : Skylight window, lightweight roof using truss, Inbangjae, Modern application of lifting-door, Multi-functional use of inverted beam, Skylight window to basement were reviewed and complemented through the demonstration construction and prototype production. However, since Functional Seokkarae, Attic storage using Umoolbanja, Built-in closet, Smart window, Integration of wooden structure and equipment, Installation of air-conditioning using remaining space , LED Lighting Installation, Lighting by Lifting-door is in the concept stage, it is necessary to continuously improve the performance and develop the technology in the future. It is necessary to evaluate the practical performance enhancement and applicability by applying to the empirical test.
