While people"s standard of living has improved considerably with the economic growth of modern society as well as with urbanization and industrialization, urban growth and development are threatening the health of modern people with many social problems and stress from urbanization. As modern people become more interested in their health, various spaces with functions such as relaxation, entertainment and healing have emerged, activities and participation in new places, and health-conscious lifestyles are changing. The leisure activities of modern people are steadily increasing and through experience and relaxation.
The desire to solve physical and mental stress and improve the quality of life is increasing, and this makes wellness tourism a new trend. But most of the downtown accommodation is for tourists and business guests. Recreation and healing resorts mostly have resorts that are not urban. Because there is no room for modern people living in cities to be treated in urban areas, the city plans to help modern people heal their bodies and bodies by introducing the concept of "wellness."
In response, this study studies the characteristics of urban resort planning for the rehabilitation of modern people, suggesting that they can not only rest but heal the mind and body in urban areas, and using urban wellness resort for the purpose of providing applicable direction.
