본 연구는 창의적 미술활동 언어중재 프로그램이 언어장애아동의 언어문제해결능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 언어장애아동 4명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 창의적 미술활동 언어중재 프로그램은 어떤 문제를 언어적으로 해결하기 위하여 창의적 사고 능력, 창의적 아이디어 창출 능력, 창의적 표현 능력의 미술활동을 매체로 하여 언어적 자극과 언어적 상호작용, 자발적인 언어표현의 언어문제해결과정으로 중재 프로그램을 구성하였다. 실험 절차는 창의적 문제해결 과정을 근거로 동기유발, 문제탐색, 아이디어 발견, 문제해결, 수용 단계로 구분하여 진행하였고 언어문제해결능력은 원인이유, 단서추측, 해결추론 능력으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 중재 프로그램 적용 결과 창의적 미술활동 언어중재가 언어장애아동의 언어문제해결능력에서 원인이유, 단서추측, 해결추론 능력 향상에 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 창의적 미술활동 언어중재는 언어장애아동에게 언어적인 부분을 창의적 미술활동의 매체를 통해 친근하고 자연스럽게 접근하였으며, 창의적으로 문제를 해결하는 인지과정의 확산적 사고로 언어문제해결능력에서 원인이유, 단서추측, 해결추론 능력을 향상시키는데 긍정적 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether creative art language intervention programs contribute to improving the cause reason, clues guessing, and solving inference of children with language impairments among language problem solving ability. To select children as study subjects, the Korean Wechsler intelligence scale for children-Ⅲ(K-WISC-Ⅲ), a receptive and expressive vocabulary test(REVT) was administered on four lower-year students with language impairments who attended elementary schools in City C, in Gyeongsangnam-do. A creative art language intervention program consisted of art activities targeting creative thinking to solve a problem, the ability to generate creative ideas, and the ability of creative expression, and language interventions targeting verbal stimuli, verbal prompts, and social reinforcement. The experimental procedure was divided based on the creative problem solving process into motivation, problem search, idea-finding, problem solving, and acceptance phases. The results were as follows: First, creative art language intervention had an impact on improving the cause reason ability of children with language impairments among language problem solving ability. Second, creative art language intervention had an effect on improving the ability of children with language impairments to clues guessing among language problem solving ability. Third, creative art language intervention contributed to improving the solving inference of children with language impairments among language problem solving ability. Based on the aforementioned results, the intimate approach of creative art language intervention to the language ability of children with language impairments through the mediation of creative art activities, and the divergent thinking in the cognitive process of solving problems creatively, had positive effects on improving cause reason, clues guessing and solving inference among language problem solving ability.
