The Crown Prince Sa-Do(思悼世子) perished at 1762year. He’s son King Jeong-jo unfolded recovery enterprises of Sa-Do’s honor. Thats based on the dead crown princes precedent. King Jeong-jo made etiquette of high level better than another dead princes. However lowed than King. And made Thai-Bong(胎封) which like that of King’s. His son was born in 1790. After King Jeong-jo gave Sa-Do prince an honorific title on the same plan as King.
King Jeong-jo waited the time that prince be coming-of-age celebration. But Jeong-jo demised at 1800 year. As a result Jeong-jo’s plan to Sa-Do prince’s King Chu-Sung(追崇) was collapsed. And there was no paper. Because they can’t hand down Jeong-jo’s plan to King’s offspring.
King Go-jong(高宗)’ grandfather was adopted into a eun-shin(恩信君) who was a child by a concubine of Sa-Do(思悼世子). So Go-jong(高宗) had fragile lineage, succession to the throne secundum a genealogical tree(宗系). Go-jong proclaimed Korea an empire in 1897, desiring stronger an Emperor’ Stature. So Go-jong bring a relief the fact that Jeong-jo’s last wish Sa-Do prince’s King Chu-Sung(追崇), by opening the 『Han-joong man rok(閑中漫錄)』. Go-jong make up for a defect of his lineage by Sa-Do prince’s Emperor Chu-Sung(追崇).
