In this paper, we discuss the problem of fluency in speaking with microteaching. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between microteaching and fluency in Korean language and pre-service teachers. First, it was revealed that there is no correlation between microteaching and fluency in grammar and literature, which are major areas of Korean language. Second, there was no correlation between microteaching and fluency in microteaching and evaluation experience of it. In case of microteaching and evaluation experience, it showed that there is correlation between microteaching and fluency.
The results show that the factor of fluency in lecture discourse is important, but it can not be said that lecture that teacher lecture is fluent necessarily is not necessarily done. In other words, although fluency is important in the teaching method, it can be said that it should be emphasized not only in the whole course but also in the context of the class.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between microteaching and fluency in Korean language teachers. However, there are limitations in that the participant is limited to some Korean and pre-service teachers, and the evaluation items included in the microteaching and fluency are not discussed in detail. This will be the subject of future research.
