This study concerned about the uniformity of urban environment colors that is caused by misconception about a cultural climate color, lack of understanding it and the uniform application to an environment color plan. The study examined the concept of a cultural climate color in an urban environment color; and derived the relationship of cultural climate colors based on identity of urban environment colors and local history and culture. Based on the findings, the study performed Delphi survey to establish the direction how to evaluate a cultural climate color in a central esthetic area. The findings suggested that, in a central esthetic area, a color of the historical buildings (material) should be applied as a key color of streets rather than a natural factor of a cultural climate color; and when a sustainable system for the purpose of producing landscape materials, and reflecting and settling such a cultural climate color is implemented continuously, the identity of the central esthetic area can be formed using the cultural climate color. The study suggested the value of a sustainable urban environment color and direction of building identity.
