The purpose of this study is to verify the difference of tourist attraction selection attributes in accordance with travel motivations among college students. The sample study is based on 250 students in Daejeon area who have travelled both at domestic and abroad from 2016 November 1st to 30th. The method used in this study is self-administered questionnaire and it showed that the total number of samples used was 237 people except the sample with non-answered to questionnaire and fundamental case of 13 outliers. To secure the study`s generality and objectivity, weak and vague questions have been deleted or fixed in advance and have finished analyzing the returned questionnaires through SPSS Win Ver. 18.0 statistic package. As an outcome of the hypothesis analysis of travel motivations, daily escape, resting, enjoyment, and cultural reasons were found. By putting derived factors to make a group analysis, four clusters were identified as daily escape seeking group, relaxation seeking group, amusement seeking group, and cultural seeking group respectively. Then, the results of the factor analysis of tourist attraction selection attributes were classified into accommodation and convenience, service quality, natural environment, and cultural facilities. With the four clusters found among the tourist attraction selection attributes of college students, the results showed that the selected four clusters were statistically significant making the hypothesis selected through the advanced research rationale. As a practical implication of this study, it is very important that college students` tour are not only for improvement in education but also for cultural and fun experience, and the opportunities they get to self-express, stress relief, relaxation, and cultural life. Therefore, the implication is on college students who show very active and dynamic inclination that they are contributory in establishing a strategy for satisfying desires.
