The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of Korean wave on visit intention of Chinese to Korea. This study also investigated the effect of visit intention of Chinese on recommendation intention to visit Korea. The data were collected from residents in Qingdao, China. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were applied to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that Korean image media(drama, movies) and Korean traditional food had influences, but Korean music and fashion had no influences on the visit intention of Chinese to Korea. It showed visit intention had an influence on recommendation intention of Chinese to Korea. Although many studies have been conducted to investigate the intention to visit Korea through the effects of Korean Wave, the results showed the different factors of the effects of Korean Wave because China is a multicultural and multinational nation comprise Han Chinese and 55 minorities. The diversified and segmentalized studies are required on the subject of regions in China to develop and enhance the cultural contents of Korean wave in order to attract more Chinese tourists.
