The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of management performance according to the management characteristics(a hotel grade, a management type, an independent or chain hotel) of hotel and an outside impact and offer the useful information to the hotel managers. As the result of analysis, the averages of a current ratio, a total asset turnover and a trade receivables turnover of the second deluxe hotels were higher than ones of the first deluxe hotels. But the averages of a debt to equity ratio and the total borrowings to total asset of the first deluxe hotels were higher than ones of the second deluxe hotels. And it was found that the averages of a current ratio and ROA of independent hotels were higher than ones of the other management styles. Also the averages of a profit margin ratio and a growth rate of operating profit of franchising hotels were higher than ones of the others. Also there were the significant differences in a current ratio, a debt to equity ratio, the total borrowings to total asset, ROA, an inventory turnover and a trade receivables turnover according to an independent or chain hotel. And as the result of comparing four types of financial ratio before and after Subprime Mortgage Crisis, there were differences in a debt to equity ratio, a profit margin ratio, ROA, ROE, a total asset turnover, a trade receivables turnover, a growth rate of operating profit and a growth rate of net income. Therefore hotel managers should consider these results to improve the management efficiency.
