I designed a logical model to analyze the process of the policy formation in the medical tourism through the public-private cooperation networks, and researched how the comprising elements of the analysis are structured. Specifically, the paper set up a framework for analysis based on the concept of cooperation network in terms of developing and executing government policies for the medical tourism industry, particularly with public-private partnership taken into account, and derived future directions and implications for Korean medical tourism policy from the research results on the analysis. This paper analyzes the cooperation network involved in medical tourism and identifies the interactions and relationship structure among the policy actors who participate in the policy-making process. This is done with a view to expand the range and scope of the tourism industry by pursuing convergence and integration of the tourism industry and the medical service sector.
