When interests in our liquor have been increased with a makgeolli sensation, traditional liquor has appeared as a new part in the liquor culture. To be specific, interests in our liquor that we already had are occurring belatedly. To figure out consuming behavior of traditional liquor would be crucial material to satisfy market scale, possibility of growth, and consumers` needs while understanding traditional liquor consumer regarding attention to our liquor, well-being, and health is important. This study was aimed at investigating consuming reason of consumers who purchase a traditional liquor and information research channel in detail. A questionnaire was organized and distributed widely to 350 of consumers who buy traditional liquor in liquor shop, korean restaurant, and bar where it sells traditional liquor such as Makgeolli and Bokbunjaju, located in Gangnam, Sinchon, and Hongdae area. Also, the survey was taking for two months from Aug. 2009 to Sep. 2009. Total 320 of surveys were collected and 314 usable data were obtained. This study was analyzed with the SPSS package program(12.0) and conducted a comparison analysis by demographical characteristics to investigate respondents` characteristics and consuming behavior of traditional liquor through a frequency analysis and a crosstabulation analysis.
