This study is aiming to enhance the understandings on visitors by indentifying the relations between the visitor`s life style and destination choice behavior on marine tourism destination. Further, it provides some strategic points on the development and operation of marine tourism area. This research has conducted literature and empirical studies to attain its purpose. The survey for an empirical study was conducted by trained surveyors in six different marine tourist destinations appropriate for the purpose of this study such as beaches, marine resorts, islands, oceanic fishing places, mud flats, fishery villages, and Marina. Totally 581 questionnaires were utilized in this study after some marked in a bad condition were excluded. The result of this study showed that the perception of importance on marine tourism varies depending on visitor`s lifestyle. Thus, In a short-term timeframe, marketers should identify what attractive attributes works for those who have what kinds of lifestyle and intensify marketing activities on visitors having those fittest for the excellent attributes that marine tourism sites possess. In a long-term period, they should explore and enlarge their market by developing attractive attributes that are fit for those who have different lifestyle.
