This study investigated destination attractiveness of tourism resources nearby Kunmgand River region, which 7 different provincial areas. Based on the literature review, destination attractiveness, importance-performance analysis, and tourists` behavior were discussed. In general, the various types of tourism destinations provide an amalgam of tourism products and services. The components of tourism products and services are essential for tourism development and marketing, and are commonly referred to as tourism attractions and resources. Many researchers have attempted to evaluate and classify destination attractions/resources as tourism products Destination attractions/resources should be acknowledged as important sources of comparative and competitive advantage factors in destination competitiveness. Furthermore, maintaining and developing the quality of these tourism resources is important to the competitiveness of most types of tourism destination. In this study, A total of 703 useful sample were collected from tourists who were visiting 7 difference areas nearby Kumgang River. by using IPA analysis destination attractiveness of tourism resources were classified into concentrate hear, keep up the good work, low priority, and possible overkill. Managerial implication and discussion for tourism development and planning nearby Kungkang area were provided in the conclusion section.
