After the Cold War, today's global security environment is characterized by concerns over increased irregular war types and Non-traditional Security Threats rather than persisting conventional military threats. Faced with this new security environment, advanced countries have been developing Multinational Experiment(MNE) led by United States Joint Forces Command as a countermeasure against these unpredictable threats over the past 11 years. This article seeks to analyze whether the MNE technical experimental method and its products are necessary and practical for Korean troops. As a result, MNE is assuming a role not only as a military collaborative main body among the member countries involving intergovernmental organizations and international organizations under United Nations but also growing as a worldwide discussion community in the wake of sharing information, common awareness on new threats and cooperating strategically with other participants. In addition, the MNE products are very applicable to the increasing non-traditional threats, military students, helping Korean PKO and so on.
