This study was intended to approach the centering around philosophical and aesthetic aspect of Taekwondo. For better result, I researched for the origin of Taekwondo uniform and pursued the ideal and worth of Taekwondo philosophy. And I reached the followings: First, Taekwondo trainees who have sincere mind can obtain the essence of Taekwondo. Trainees who regard Taekwondo or other military arts as a leisure, sports, selfdefense ways, may obtain some profits from it but they miss the real essence of Taekwondo. Second, Taekwondo uniform and belt were applied with color of korea dress. Third, the aesthetic meaning of Taekwondo Poomse, that is fineness, brilliance and maturity are expressed through body and these beauties are accepted abjectively. And Taekwondo maturity needs aesthetic factors like harmony, balance, technique, tension, creation and perfection of movement. In the future, as a long succession from ancestor, Taekwondo education and Traning should be aimed for developing sound mind and body through voluntary and harmonious attitude.
