This study attempts to analyze the determinants of voters" participation in voting by utilizing the ‘19th Presidential Election Voter Survey" conducted after the 19th Presidential Election. The results of the analysis can be summarized as follows. First, party identification, candidates" distance, civic duty, interest in elections, information about election, and voting experience effect voters" voting participation in the 19th presidential election. However, this result cannot compare the determinants of the voter who participated in election day and the determinants of the voter who participated in pre-voting. Thus, two groups were investigated separately in this study. Second, this study finds that the civic duty, interest in the election, information about the election, and experience of participating in previous polls effect voting participating regardless of the type of vote. Third, this study indicates that the influence of the party identification, the candidates" distance, and the evaluation of Park’s government shows the different results depending on the type of the vote.
