Throughout this research, the neoliberal policies implemented by Mexican authorities since 1982 shall deeply in order to conceptualize their social and economic effects; particularly, in unemployment and poverty. In this regard, the negative effects caused by the neoliberal are described and analyzed. Especially since 1986, with accelerated economic liberalization and the entry of hundreds of companies into the country, without it meant an improvement in the welfare of Mexicans. The methodology used is the study of literature sources and historical tracking of neoliberal policies, so that way, noting its impact on the economy. It starts from the view that neoliberalism seeks to improve the competitiveness of countries, but to seize the strategic natural resources.
