Uijeongbu bus terminal was built at 1990. At that time city government tried to develop the adjacent site of this bus terminal area in the near future, but the using demand for the bus terminal was not increased, and therefore the adjacent site was not developed and has been left to temporary private building site without any prospect or planned perspective. As time passed, light railway stations (Dong-O station) and metropolitan bus stops were introduced around this bus terminal site, therefore the demand for bus terminal expansion was stopped at this time. is intended to provide housing Therefore, new development method using the ‘Happy House’ concept of Gyeonggi-do Province is proposed for this public site development with social housing and cohabitation program for stationed households to newly married couples, social early years persons, and college students.
