Report Errors
Hazardous and noxious substances (HNS) are widely transported in marine vessels to reach every part of the country. Bulk transportation of hazardous chemicals is carried out in cargo container vessels. HNS carriers involved in accidents often pose threat of chemical hazards, which is difficult to manage in the marine environment. Marine accidents can affect adversely the human, properties and activities aboard ships and ashore in various forms and degree of extent. In this article, possible outcomes have been identified for investigating the exact causes of the HNS accident which occurred on last January 11 2015 at Onsan port of Ulsan. We discussed throws light on the dangers latent in maritime HNS accidents of mixed acids chemical tanker.
