The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect and difference of the leisure motivation of hotel workers on leisure satisfaction and suggest the necessity of leisure activation. To do this, we carried out the survey for deluxe hotel workers in Seoul and Busan from August 10 to 30, 2016 and obtained total 320 questionnaires among which 312 questionnaires were used as analysis data except for 8 questionnaires that had several missing values or insincere answers, and carried out multiple regression analysis, t-test and distribution analysis. As a result of this study, first, it is found that the cause of competence of leisure motivation has a significant effect relation by environmental, social-educational, physiological and psychological cause and the cause of stress solution has the effect relation by all causes and the cause of escape from everyday world has the effect relation by environmental cause only. Second, in the analysis of difference of leisure motivation, it is found that the age showed the significant difference only by competence cause, the job by stress solution cause, the income by all causes, the works by the cause of escape from everyday world, and the contract type by the cause of competence and escape from everyday world. Third, in the analysis of difference of leisure satisfaction, it is verified that the age has the significant difference only by physiological cause, the education background by physiological and psychological cause, the job by relaxation and physiological cause, the income by all causes, the works by physiological cause only, and the contract type by relaxation and physiological cause.
