This study began with doubts about residents' satisfaction on the SHift. It seems that the Long-term Rental Housing(SHift) is successful, considering its high renewal rate(94% in average) among tenants who moved in 3 years ago. However it is insufficient to measure residential satisfaction accurately. The default of concrete and objective data raises a doubt whether they are really satisfied with the SHift. The result of survey shows that the majority of residents live content with the residential environment. The Long-term Rental Housing in the research area, Kang il, Jang ji and Banpo, lease at less than the market price despite high quality infrastructure, while It requires deposit under 80% of market value in surrounding area. Moreover, the tenants live stable life for 20 years.
