Cloud computing has been an emerging computing platform for many scientific applications which require huge computing resource. Resource virtualization is one key technology to realize this seamless computing platform. Recent research in Cloud computing resource allocation has considered GPU as Cloud resource, as well as CPU. Although many simulation toolkits have been developed for Cloud computing, little research on Cloud simulation with consideration of GPU resource has been done. In this paper, we develop a Cloud simulation framework for GPU resource allocation by extending CloudSim toolkit. We add several components to simulate GPU resource virtualization. The proposed simulation framework will be useful to develop new GPU resource allocation schemes in Cloud computing.
