National Emergency Management Agency recently made it compulsory to install the accelerometer for the building safety diagnosis upon the occurrence of an earthquake. The results of analyzing the dynamic response signals of the structure are used to evaluate the soundness of the structure, and the accumulated data are used to improve the aseismic design.
In this paper, the mode analysis technique is used to propose a system that can diagnose the structure safety and monitor the safety diagnosis evaluation in real time. The proposed system can monitor the danger alarm signals according to the damage to the building and the safety grade information in real time to reduce the loss of property and life in the case of disaster.
